| The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a software development methodology knowledge base created by Dean Leffingwell for implementing agile practices at enterprise scale. Presented in a structured, interactive, publicly facing web format, its primary user interface is a “Agile Enterprise Big Picture” graphic which highlights the individual roles, teams, activities and artifacts necessary to scale agile from the team, to teams of teams, to the enterprise level. The following courses help to understand and apply SAFe, both at an enterprise and team level.
Leading SAFe
The SAFe Agilist certification program is for executives,
managers and Agile change agents responsible for leading a Lean|Agile change
initiative in a large software enterprise. It validates their knowledge in
applying the Scaled Agile Framework, lean, and product development flow
principles in an enterprise context so they can lead the adoption of the Scaled
Agile Framework.
We address how to use the framework for enterprise level
rollout of agile techniques, from portfolio to team. Attendees have the ability to take the SA exam as part of
this course. | |

Scrum XP for Teams
The two-day SAFe ScrumXP for Teams course goes well
beyond Scrum. It teaches Lean thinking tools, roles, processes, and the
software engineering practices necessary to achieve the code quality you need
to scale Scrum to your enterprise business context. The course is intended for
new teams in an enterprise agile adoption program or can be used to re-baseline
existing Scrum teams as required for scaling.
