The Scrum.org Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) certification course for Java is an exercise-driven class which teaches students how to work in a team, using advanced software engineering practices such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration, the java technology platform, and the Scrum framework to develop high quality, deployable, functionality.

Audience:

The Professional Scrum Developer course is targeted toward software development team members, including architects, programmers, database developers, testers, others with some technical knowledge. Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders are welcome to attend this class so long as they keep in mind that everyone who attends will be expected to fully participate on their development team.

Logistics:

3 day course. Workshop format. 50% or more exercises and discussions. Laptops or desktops with internet connectivity and the ability to load software is required.

After class, attendees will have 14 days to take the Professional Scrum Developer online assessment, which consists of 80 multiple choice questions. If they score 85%, they will receive PSD Java certification. The cost of the first attempt is included in the price of the PSD class.
